MTV today announced the first in the line-up of global artists set to perform at the 2024 MTV EMAs, taking place on Sunday November 10 at here at Co-op Live.
LE SSERAFIM, PESO PLUMA, TYLA, BENSON BOONE, RAYE, SHAWN MENDES, TEDDY SWIMS, THE WARNING & PET SHOP BOYS WILL ALSO PERFORM WITH MANCHESTER CAMERATA WILL PERFORM AT 2024 MTV EMAs
MTV revealed more superstar performers for the 2024 MTV EMA stage. Taking place on Sunday November 10 at Manchester’s Co-op Live, music’s biggest global celebration will also see Pet Shop Boys become the first ever MTV EMAPop Pioneers Award honourees, and feature presenters GRAMMY Award-winning Hip-Hop icon LL COOL J plus mother-and-daughter musicians Neneh Cherry and Mabel.
Additionally, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, plus screen stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Turner-Smith and Lucien Laviscount, will take to the stage as presenters.

PERFORMERS
Pet Shop Boys with the Manchester Camerata
2024 marks 40 years since the first Pet Shop Boys record was released. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have been listed in The Guinness Book of Records as the most successful duo in UK music history, with 44 UK Top 30 singles - including 22 Top 10 hits and four number ones - 15 UK Top 10 studio albums and sold-out shows in 63 countries. The duo will now receive the inaugural MTV EMA Pop Pioneers Award in recognition of their contribution to the world of pop music, including the groundbreaking sonic and visual spectacles they create for their fans. The award also honours their unique style, enduring influence, and their army of steadfast fans around the world. Pet Shop Boys’ MTV EMA performance will be in collaboration with the Manchester Camerata, an orchestra that has been working in Manchester and beyond since 1972.
LE SSERAFIM
Fearless K-pop quintet Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae are ready to take on the MTV EMA stage. In 2024, they were the first and only K-pop group to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks, all whilst their 4th mini album “CRAZY”, a historic performance at Coachella and a MTV VMA win for “PUSH Performance of the Year” delighted fans around the world.

TYLA
Known for her boundary-pushing style, Tyla brings a unique blend of pop and R&B infused with euphoric Amapiano sounds, reflecting her South African heritage and elevated by otherworldly production. Her GRAMMY-winning global hit “Water” soared into the Billboard Top 10, establishing Tyla as the highest-charting African female soloist in Billboard Hot 100 history. Benson Boone
Benson Boone has rocketed to global stardom with his intimate, diaristic style. His viral smash-hit “Beautiful Things” from his debut album 'Fireworks & Rollerblades' remains the most-streamed song in the world this year to date and is now certified 5X Platinum. Fresh off his MTV VMA win for “Best Alternative”, Boone now heads to Manchester to treat MTV EMA fans to a very special performance.
RAYE
singer-songwriter RAYE is bringing her silky smooth vocals to the stage for her debut solo MTV EMA performance. One of the brightest stars in music today, RAYE holds eight Top 20 UK singles, 5 billion global Spotify streams and the Double Platinum song, “Escapism.”, which was also the year’s highest-selling single from a female British artist.
Shawn Mendes
Multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes is set to make a highly anticipated return to the MTV EMAs. With the recent announcement of his forthcoming fifth studio album, Shawn, Mendes continues to captivate with his latest singles “Why Why Why,” “Isn’t That Enough,” and “Nobody Knows,” which reflect the inspiration drawn from his travels and personal experiences over the past few years.
Teddy Swims
Teddy Swims’ debut album “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy” has resonated with fans around the world. Breakout 4x Platinum, Billboard Hot 100 Chart topping single “Lose Control”, has helped propel Swims to new heights with “Part 2” to his album landing in January. Swims isn’t finished with 2024 yet, as he prepares to bring his powerhouse vocals to the MTV EMAs.
The Warning
One of rock’s fastest-rising bands are set to make their mark on the MTV EMAs. As The Warning near the end of their headline world tour - having amassed hundreds of millions of streams and countless fans along the way - the Mexican-born sister trio now have their sights set on Manchester, hot off the success of their latest studio album “Keep Me Fed”.
The 2024 MTV EMAs will broadcast live on MTV in more than 150 countries on Sunday 10th November from Manchester’s Co-op Live, in addition to being available in multiple international territories on Pluto TV, and on demand on Paramount+.
Fans can vote for their favourites across categories including “Best Song,” “Best Artist,” “Best Collaboration” at www.mtvema.com. The “Biggest Fans” winners will be voted for at a later date on social via @MTVEMA.
Due to the nature of the production, which is being broadcast live globally, set pieces and cameras may obstruct audience views from time to time during the show.
