adidas Originals Recording Studio, Engineered By Abbey Road

The adidas Originals Recording Studio, engineered by the world-renowned Abbey Road, gives artists a unique space to capture their creativity before and after their performances.

Liam Fray, frontman of the Courteeners, helped launch the studio and performed live, opening it up to the community. He reflected on the band’s early days, when they had nowhere to record and were “working out of friends’ garages” long before becoming the arena and stadium act they are today. “I think it’s aspirational,” he said. “If I were 18, I’d want to come in and think, ‘That’s where I want to go.’”

The studio’s ability to support grassroots talent while also accommodating artists like Ed Sheeran and Liam Fray highlights its versatility for performers of all levels coming to Co-op Live.
