Canalside Café is now a Warm Welcome Space

We’re delighted to announce that Canalside Café is now a Warm Welcome Space for the community, offering a free, welcoming place to stay warm throughout the winter for those affected by the cost-of-living crisis.

To celebrate, on Tuesday 20 January we’re turning Blue Monday into Brew Tuesday. Join us between 9am and 2pm and defrost with a hot drink and take part in our free competition for a chance to win cosy prizes and a pair of Co-op Live tickets.

Stop by and enjoy a welcoming space to relax, refuel, and reconnect with others, designed with the community in mind. We offer a budget-friendly menu of fresh pastries, hot drinks, and satisfying bites, plus free Wi-Fi, 25p off when you bring your own cup, and a loyalty card—collect 6 stamps and your 7th hot drink is on us!

What is the Warm Welcome Campaign?

The Warm Welcome campaign started as a response to keep people warm through the winter and has blossomed into a movement to reconnect individuals and communities across the country all year round.

Spaces that support the Warm Welcome campaign are places full of warmth, connection, belonging and hope. Thousands of lives are being touched by Warm Welcome Spaces, helping communities across the country and we’re excited to be a part of this at Canalside Café.
