Reducing single-use plastic with Event Cup Solutions

Working with Event Cup Solutions, we’re helping to reduce single-use plastic at Co-op Live through our reusable cup scheme.

In 2025, over 1.4 million cups were used and reused, achieving an average return rate of 92%, rising to almost 95% in the final quarter.

Together, this helped save the equivalent of 7 tonnes of single-use plastic, around the same weight as 350,000 plastic bottles, while avoiding 35 tonnes of carbon.

From half-pints and pints to two-pint and champagne cups, the growing range of reusable cups is helping us reduce waste across the venue, with our fans playing an important part every time they return their cup.
