Keeping You Safe and Secure

Our security, stewards, and front-of-house team are all here to make sure you have an incredible experience in our venue. Please don't hesitate to contact any of them with any questions you may have and if they see you looking lost or confused, they may pop over to check-in with a friendly smile.

Our friends at GMP are on-hand to keep an eye on things and provide additional resource to our already robust security operation. They're all very approachable, so please do have a chat with them about what they're up to.

Lastly, we do ask you to tell us if you feel something isn’t right. Either mention it to a steward, a security guard or a friendly police officer. Please don’t ever worry about reporting anything that doesn’t feel quite right, no matter how minor. If you do see something suspicious, please let a member of staff know as soon as possible or call the confidential Anti Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321. If it's an emergency, always call 999.

Bag Policy

We don’t allow large bags into the venue for security reasons.

You will be permitted to take small clear bags and handbags in with you. We class small bags as no larger than A4 size or standard handbags. One bag is allowed per person. Backpacks, travel cases, laptop bags and large tote bags are not permitted inside the venue.

Any bags larger than A4 will be placed into storage for a fee, for you to collect after the event.

Security Screening

Co-op Live uses a frictionless security screening that detects prohibited items without you needing to empty your pockets. Our screening is simple, please follow these 6 steps to make it as efficient as possible:

  1. Finish up any food and drink before you enter the venue as you’re not allowed to take these in with you.
  2. Head to the entrance that is stated on your ticket.
  3. Open your app and have your tickets ready for scanning.
  4. Keep your small bag and coats on your person. There is no need to take items from your pockets, unless instructed to by our security team.
  5. Simply pass through the screening system when asked by one of the team.
  6. You may be required to undergo a further search; you’ll be instructed to head to the nearest search table if required.
