FROM BRATCHESTER TO THE THE STAGES OF GLASTONBURY: CHARLIE XCX π
Throwing it back to 27 November '24, Charli XCX lit up Co-op Live with a high-energy, brat-pop explosion, we are talking neon lights, thumping bass, and pure chaos. It wasn’t just a gig, it was a full, mind and body experience. πΊ
Charli's Glastonbury set unleashed pure Brat energy on a massive crowd of around 60,000!! No dancers or surprises, just her, strobe lights, and blazing tracks like “360” and “Club Classics.” Critics described it as an “uncompromising hostile takeover” and “feisty dance-pop” that earned her unofficial headliner status. π
π€ Gracie Abrams Is Bringing the Feels to Glastonbury
Gracie Abrams cast a spell over Co-op Live on March 7, delivering a night of soft heartbreak, glowing vocals, and goosebump-level emotion. Her connection with the crowd was real, raw, delicate, and unforgettable. Now, she’s stepping onto the 'Other Stage' at Glastonbury, Saturday 28 at 6:45 PM and we can already feel the emotional waves coming. π
Stepping barefoot, she charmed with acoustic intimacy and emotional certainty, from “Risk” to “Close To You.” Her set was polished, heartfelt, and ended with a dreamy crescendo. Paul McCartney even watched!
Manchester, do you feel like dancing??? πͺ©πΊ
The Scissor Sisters made their glorious comeback at the Co-op Live on 21 May, and it was everything we hoped for... camp, chaos, sequins, and synths. From “Take Your Mama” to “Let’s Have a Kiki,” the night was a glitter-drenched time warp of pure joy. π
Their reunion tour vibe carried over spectacularly to the Woodsies stage. Reviews called it an “effervescent maximalism” with theatrical camp, disco beats, and full audience engagement and fans described it as “absolutely fantastic” on Reddit, praising the flamboyant, party atmosphere. We agree, no matter where you watched from wether it be from your lounge or the festival grounds there was not a still foot in sight. πΊ
NOT AT GLASTONBURY OR WANT TO SEE THEM ALL OVER AGAIN? LET'S DIVE INTO WHO IS PLAYING AT GLASTONBURY THAT WE ALSO HAVE COMING TO THE CO-OP LIVE!
π Olivia Rodrigo: Glasto Debut Before a Double Date with Co-op Live π
Olivia Rodrigo is about to have a huge weekend. She’s hitting the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury for the first time ever on Sunday, 29 June at 9:45 PM and then heading straight to Manchester for not one but TWO nights at Co-op Live on 30 June and 1 July.
That’s right. Glasto first, then straight back to us. Queen behaviour. π
Her Glasto set is the stuff of main stage dreams, expect emotional bangers, massive singalongs, and at least one moment where everyone screams “It’s brutal out here!” into the sunset.
From festival fields to our arena floor, Olivia’s giving us everything. And we are SOOO ready!! ππͺ©
πΉ Tears, Torchlights & Tom: Odell’s Piano Magic Hits Glasto
Tom took on the Glastonbury Woodsies Stage on Saturday 28 June. “There’s no place in the whole wide world than to be here right now,” he told the crowd, before launching into tender, piano-pounding hits. His performance balanced vulnerability and strength, his voice “robust and even bullish”, and the Woodsies tent filled with intimate magic. β¨
Tom’s upcoming headline show at Co-op Live this October promises everything we’ve come to expect, piano-driven heartache that swells into anthemic bursts of emotion. Expect powerful crescendos, phone-torch singalongs, and (probably) a few crowd tears to Another Love and Loving You Will Be the Death of Me. If his Glastonbury set was anything to go by, it’s going to be both intimate and massive at the same time. π«ΆπΉ
It's HIME TIME! β±οΈ
The trio played a secret set on Saturday 28 June on the Glastonbury Park stage. They played an upbeat and nostalgic hidden gig. With a last-minute Instagram drop, the crowd poured in. Their set blended newer tracks from I Quit with classic sing-alongs like The Wire, The Steps, and Want You Back.
So, are you as exited as us about their upcoming show here at the Co-op Live? We are counting down the minutes π
Mud, Music & Manchester: The Glasto Line-up Hits Co-op Live πͺ©πΊ
From Charli XCX’s rave-fuelled rebellion to Olivia Rodrigo’s Pyramid Stage power, Haim’s secret set magic to Tom Odell’s piano-driven emotion, and from Gracie Abrams’ dreamy intimacy to the Scissor Sisters' disco chaos... This year’s Glastonbury lineup has felt like a massive Co-op Live reunion (or warm-up, in some cases).
It’s a reminder that when it comes to world-class talent, the biggest names in music know exactly where to bring it. Whether it’s your first gig or a headline tour moment, the Co-op Live isn’t just another stop on the map, it’s where memories are made, albums come alive, and artists shine their brightest.
So whether you caught them in a muddy field or you’re counting down the days to see them under our roof, one thing’s for sure:
If they’re playing Glastonbury, chances are they’re also playing Co-op Live. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. π
Thank you for taking the time to read, we hope to see you very soon! πΊ
