Unity Radio brings their Next Gen Youth to adidas Originals Recording Studio, Engineered by Abbey Road

As part of the MOBOs Fringe this week, Unity Radio’s Next Gen Youth programme stepped into the adidas Originals Recording Studio, Engineered By Abbey Road at Co-op Live for a hands-on taste of studio life, bringing local young creatives together. Special guest rapper, Superlative and Manchester basketball player, Jordan Johnson stopped by to chat about what they do and inspire the future generation. adidas also surprised the group with gifts, from clothes to books, rounding off a successful day in the studio.

The Next Gen Youth Programme at Unity Radio is empowering young people aged 13 to 17 to develop skills in radio presenting and interviewing through interactive workshops and live broadcasting.

Participants host live shows twice a week, exploring topics such as mental health and education. As part of the programme, they gain hands on experience by presenting up to four live broadcasts while working towards achieving an Arts Award.
