Ensure children have a fully charged phone, including a charging cable. There will be charging points located across the arena.
Ask the children in your care to let you know they have got into the arena safely and to keep you updated of their location. If feasible, do consider asking them to share their location with you at regular intervals.
Ask those children in your care to let you know when they leave the arena, how they plan to travel home and the time they expect to arrive home. If travelling on public transport/taxi, advise them to let family know who they are travelling with and how.
Encourage the children in your care not to travel alone and to stay together for the duration of the event and on their journeys home. Advise them not to go off with people they do not know.
Tell the children in your care not to enter the car or other transport of someone they do not know or have not booked through a recognised organisation.
Ensure the young people in your care keep their money and personal items secure and on their person at all times. Remember bags cannot be any larger than A4 in size.
