Co-op Live, the UK’s largest live entertainment arena, has today announced that multi-Grammy Award-winning rock band, The Black Keys, will perform at the arena during its opening week. The band will headline the venue on 27 April 2024.

Labelled “one of the best rock ‘n’ roll bands on the planet” by Uncut, the acclaimed duo are preparing to release their twelfth studio album, ‘Ohio Players’, on 5 April 2024 via Nonesuch Records, just two weeks before taking to the stage at Co-op Live. The record features collaborations with friends and colleagues, including Beck, Noel Gallagher, Greg Kurstin, Dan “The Automator” Nakamura and more.

Gary Roden, Executive Director and General Manager, Co-op Live, says: “We are thrilled that a band of The Black Keys’ calibre will be taking to the stage. The show will be part of an amazing week of performances that kicks off a jam-packed opening season. At Co-op Live our aim is to bring world-class talent to a city that lives and breathes music, and this line up epitomises that ambition. With our doors opening in a matter of weeks, we can’t wait to welcome the world to Co-op Live.”
